Summary: Nesco Resource is hiring dependable and motivated Material Handlers to join a global manufacturing leader in Rochester, NY. Shift:

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Mon. - Fri.

Pay: $22.00/Hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Process incoming and outgoing shipping transactions
• Post receipts, and material transfers to warehouse, sales orders or networks
• Process and track inventory transfers, vendor or quality returns in a timely and accurate manner
• Unpack, pack and sort materials
• Receive vendor and internal shipments
• Provide support to warehouse, stock or inventory functions
• Load and unload tractor trailers with manual pallet jacks, electric power jacks
• Organize material in warehouse racks using inventory system
• Adhere to prescribed rust prevention and protection standards
• Physical inventory and cycle counts of warehouse materials
• Actively participate in ongoing 5S Program

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, retail or shipping/receiving environment (preferred)
• Basic computer skills which include the ability to create and save text documents and to create and send emails
• Detail-orientation in performing accurate transactions
• Self-motivated and multi-tasks with minimal supervision
• Proactively meets both internal and external customer needs.
• Effective work methods and consistently meets commitments
• Uses sound judgment and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication skills - clear, concise and positive.
• Display a strong sense of urgency in researching, tracking and correcting problems in a timely

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequent reaching, bending, and movement around machinery
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while maintaining productivity and quality standards
