Material Handler 1st Shift

= $18.00 $21.00/hour
= 6+ Month Contract
1st Shift: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM 3:30 PM, depending on business needs

We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to support warehouse and manufacturing operations in Rochester, NY. This position is responsible for receiving, moving, storing, and distributing materials while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, move, stage, and store materials

• Perform shipping and receiving duties

• Complete physical inventory counts

• Transport materials between departments and production areas

• Accurately record inventory and material movements

• Pick and stage materials for work orders

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment

• Work in narrow aisles and cold-storage areas as needed

• Follow SOPs, GMP guidelines, inventory procedures, and safety requirements

• Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

What We re Looking For:

• Previous warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred

• Forklift/material-handling equipment experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment

• Ability to follow safety, SOP, and GMP requirements

• Reliable and able to work either 1st-shift schedule based on business needs
