Material Handler

FieldBridge is looking for a Rockford, IL based Material Handler to work for a global water technology company. We offer weekly pay + benefits.

Pay/Schedule: $20/hr. Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Great opportunity fort OT as needed. At $20/hr and 48 hrs/week, for example, earn weekly paychecks of $1,040 gross.

Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Material Handlers to support inbound and outbound product movement at the Rockford, IL facility. In this role, you will be responsible for picking and auditing orders, loading and unloading trailers, and operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks in a fast-paced warehouse environment similar to a large fulfillment operation. 

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and audit customer orders from stock, assemble on pallets, and prepare for outbound shipment
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers of palletized and non-palletized product
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks to transport materials throughout the facility
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to product code, size, type, or style
• Record amounts of materials received or distributed and enter data accurately into warehouse computer systems

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of warehouse or material handling experience required
• Minimum 2 years of forklift experience preferred; site will provide forklift certification
• Experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts and order pickers required
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 30 pounds frequently
• Basic computer skills and ability to read warehouse software
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Must be available for overtime as needed
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
