Job Title: Warehouse Associate / Material Handler
Job Description
This role supports a high-volume manufacturing facility that produces small metal parts for automotive vehicles using large stamping presses, small welding stations, and production lines. As a Warehouse Associate and Material Handler, you move materials throughout the facility, support production goals, and perform a variety of tasks based on daily operational needs. You work in a fast-paced, climate-controlled environment where no job is too small and teamwork, reliability, andattention to detail are essential.
Responsibilities
Move materials safely and efficiently throughout the facility to support production and shipping activities.
Handle and transport parts between different totes to maintain organization and proper material flow.
Move an average of at least 1,000 totes per day in a repetitive, non-stationary role.
Use carts and pallet jacks to transport units and materials across the warehouse and production areas.
Perform lifting and manual labor tasks, including regularly lifting up to approximately 50 lbs and lifting items overhead repeatedly.
Conduct quality checks on parts and materials to ensure they meet required standards.
Support order picking, shipping and receiving, loading, unloading, palletizing, and general warehouse labor as needed.
Assist with warehouse inventory and inventory control activities to keep accurate counts and locations of materials.
Follow all work instructions carefully and complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
Communicate clearly with team members and maintain strong organization to meet production goals.
Adapt to different duties based on daily production goals and department needs in stamping, welding, press, conveyance, or related areas.
Work collaboratively with a team while maintaining responsibility for your own station and tasks.

Work Environment
The role is based in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility that produces small metal parts using large stamping presses, welding stations, and production lines. Fans are placed throughout the facility to enhance comfort. You stand on your feet for most of the 8–10 hour shift and perform continuous movement, lifting, and material handling. You work at your own station but remain part of a supportive team and are never completely isolated. The environment is fast-paced and production-driven, with a strong focus on safety, organization, and teamwork. Standard industrial attire appropriate for a manufacturing and warehouse setting is expected, suitable for manual labor and working around machinery and material-handling equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.54/hr.
