Summary:
Material Handler I responsible for supporting shipping, receiving, storage, order fulfillment, inventory, and equipment handling while ensuring accurate and timely processing of materials and finished goods.
Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and prepare products for shipment.
- Receive and verify materials and finished goods.
- Check product quality, type, quantity, and required documentation.
- Process shipping orders and warehouse transactions using computer systems and DELL tablets.
- Safely operate warehouse and distribution equipment.
- Follow EH&S requirements, safety procedures, and required training.
- Respond to customer service and internal department inquiries.
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping/receiving records.
- Identify deviations from standard procedures and help prevent errors or delays.
- Maintain punctuality, dependable attendance, and consistent work performance.
Required Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Shipping and receiving knowledge.
- Inventory control knowledge.
- Order fulfillment experience.
- Ability to accurately count, verify, and process materials.
- Ability to understand and analyze team metrics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow safety and EH&S procedures.
- Ability to operate warehouse/distribution equipment safely.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
