RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate forklift in compliance with forklift training and safety guidelines.Load/unload/store building materials from trailers or rail cars while minimizing damage.Store and retrieve material (piece pick and/or bulk)Prepare the paperwork required for distribution and shipping of products.Performs daily inspection and maintenance of equipment.Maintains cleanliness and tidiness in working and assigned area.Assists in periodic inventory counts as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

One year or recent forklift/warehouse experienceAbility to proficiently and safely use forklift to transport product, load/unload trucksAbility to understand and follow directionsAbility to work independently, at times under pressureAbility to lift up to 75 lbs.Ability to read/comprehend sales order, purchase orders, safety material, etc.Detail oriented and organized, basic math skillsSafe work record and stable work history
