Location: Catoosa, OK
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Day Shift, Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM

Shipping Clerk – Must-Have Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of forklift or material handling experience
• Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred
• Ability to operate a forklift safely
• Ability to read basic instructions and measuring devices
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment

Shipping Clerk – Position Summary

The Shipping Clerk will support daily shipping operations by preparing equipment for shipment, loading and unloading materials, operating a forklift, and coordinating with the shipping team to ensure orders are properly prepared and documented. This is a hands-on position in a manufacturing environment and requires someone who is dependable, organized, and safety-focused.

Shipping Clerk – Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare units for shipment by wrapping, securing piping, and completing other ship-prep tasks
• Load units onto trucks using overhead cranes
• Operate a forklift daily to move materials and equipment
• Coordinate with the Shipping Coordinator on ship-loose items
• Palletize, band, and wrap materials for shipment
• Verify documentation and ensure all required parts are included
• Load and unload materials as needed
• Communicate potential supply or shipping issues to the supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and required PPE guidelines

Shipping Clerk – Additional Qualifications

• Previous overhead crane experience is a plus
• Experience in a manufacturing, oil and gas, or industrial environment preferred
• Must be comfortable working on both even and uneven surfaces
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures
• Must be able to access various areas of the plant and grounds
• Comfortable working in tight quarters when necessary
• Required safety training will be provided, including forklift and overhead crane training
