    Job Description

    We are currently seeking experienced lumber and material handler for our location in Slidell, La. An ideal candidate would have Building Materials and FORKLIFT experience (not a forklift-only position). Must be available to work Full-Time Schedule. 
     
    Duties/Responsibilities:
    • Receive and stock incoming materials
    • Complete delivery work orders
    • Handle customer material request
    • Load and Unload materials on trucks
    • Keep yard and warehouse clean and orderly
    Required Skills/Abilities:
    • Forklift Experience 
    • Detail-Oriented and thorough
    • Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used daily
    • Ability to interact with customer, coworkers and visitors at the store while remaining professional, polite and courteous
    • Work as a Team
    • Have good communication skills
    • Comply with all safety policies and procedures
