Job Summary
At Richelieu Foods we make Great Food from Great People. We are looking for a 1st Shift Material Handler:
Essential Functions
- Transport all needed supplies correctly and on time to required line or pre-batch area.
- Communicate with internal customers to determine proper quantities and placement of items needed
- Responsible for complying Good manufacturing practices, maintaining proper sanitation and housekeeping in area.
- Properly put away any warehouse loads
- Communicate and coordinate with other Material Handlers to ensure efficient operation of the department
- Inform proper departments or supervisors of any issues or concerns
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Create and Receive TOP's \ POP's if needed
- Schedule appointments \ answer emails and phone calls
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2 Years of consistent and safe fork lift operation on a stand up forklift
- The ability to read and understand Line schedules and material needs
- Positive attendance record
- Safe operation of stand-up and sit down fork truck
- Basic computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving is a plus.
