Material Handler
The Material Handler is responsible for unpacking components from cartons, transferring them to trays or racks, and supplying materials to the production line.
Responsibilities include:
- Unpacking and inspecting incoming components for damage
- Placing parts into designated trays or containers for line-side delivery
- Maintaining accurate counts of materials and reporting discrepancies
- Collaborating with forklift operators and warehouse staff for material replenishment
- Following handling procedures to prevent mix-ups or contamination
Requirements include experience in warehouse or material handling roles, ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods, attention to detail, proficiency in inventory systems, and equipment operation skills.
