- Sit-down forklift experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without restrictions
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout a 10-hour shift
- Ability to work mandatory overtime when needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Dependable attendance and a commitment to workplace safety
ResponsibilitiesAs a Material Handler, you will play an important role in keeping materials moving throughout the facility. Daily duties may include:
- Reading work orders and following verbal instructions to determine material handling needs
- Loading and unloading materials from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
- Transporting materials from storage locations to designated work areas
- Operating a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
- Counting, weighing, and recording materials moved or handled on weekly inventory cut sheets
- Maintaining organized work areas and following safety procedures
- Performing other duties as assigned
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday
- 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
