A material handler, also known as a warehouse associate, is responsible for the storage, handling, and movement of materials in a warehouse. Their duties can include:
Receiving: Unloading deliveries and verifying their condition and completeness
Storing: Storing inventory and keeping materials organized
Picking: Selecting items based on orders and pulling them from inventory
Shipping: Palletizing and staging materials for shipment
Delivering: Transporting materials and supplies to where they are needed
Maintaining: Labeling and identifying products, recording inventory locations, and reporting shortages
