Material Handler

AtWork is seeking a full-time Material Handler for our client, an independent, locally owned lumber and building material supplier in Statesville, NC.

Responsibilities

• Place incoming deliveries into stock
• Pick orders
• Load trucks
• Unload materials at jobsites

Requirements

• Basic math skills
• Ability to read and understand instructions
• Punctuality and regular attendance
• Common sense and a good attitude
• Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to handle a physical workload, including frequent lifting or moving of heavy products

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience (training available for the right person)
• Building materials knowledge
