Ensure all material transactions are performed in a timely manner and all information is accurate in the ERP system. Examples of tasks a material handler may perform are receiving, kitting, issuing and cycle counting.
Ensure that all material is correctly transacted on and entered into the ERP software.
Follow the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) or Return Material Authorization (RMA) process when discrepancies are found and report to appropriate personnel.
Use problem solving skills to troubleshoot material discrepancy.
Put away materials to appropriate locations.
Deliver materials to departments as needed and requested.
Deliver and pickup material from sub contractors.
Work safely, following all safety precautions and minimizing safety hazards.
Keep materials and work area clean, organized and free from clutter.
Ensure all material and equipment is organized, used and stored properly.
Complete projects or any other functions as assigned by management.
Perform cycle counts and assist in physical inventories as needed.
Requirements
Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements.
Experience operating a standard forklift (preferred)
Basic computer skills
Demonstrates a team mentality
Good Time Management Skills
Good communication, particularly listening skills.
