Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support warehouse and inventory operations in Temecula, CA. The Material Handler will be responsible for accurately receiving, storing, tracking, and transporting materials while ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with company quality and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, identify, and properly store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Put materials away using the correct part number, lot number, quantity, and location.
- Transport production and non-production materials using carts, forklifts, pallet jacks, or trucks.
- Perform weekly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Complete inventory and material transactions in the company s system.
- Inspect incoming packages for visible damage and report discrepancies as required.
- Verify received materials against packing slips, invoices, and freight bills for accuracy.
- Safely handle and lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Troubleshoot material and inventory issues using sound judgment, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Support Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) requirements.
- Comply with applicable FDA regulations and other governmental and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain professional and cooperative communication with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 5 years of related warehouse/material-handling experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work effectively in a quality-controlled and regulated environment.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using SAP or another inventory management system.
- Previous experience in a regulated manufacturing, warehouse, medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar environment.
- Forklift certification/license is preferred and may be required depending on job responsibilities.
Work Environment & Requirements
- Warehouse and material-handling environment.
- Requires frequent movement of materials and equipment.
- Must be able to safely operate or learn to operate material-handling equipment as required.
- Must follow all applicable safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
