MATERIAL HANDLER / STAND-UP FORKLIFT | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Covington GA 30014 – 100% on-site
• • May be asked to float to Madison GA
• Payrate: $16.50/hr + shift differential for Sat/Sun $19.50/hr
• Required Availability: 36 hours per week | Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• • Friday: $16.50/hr
  • Saturday/Sunday: $19.50/hr

MATERIAL HANDLER / STAND-UP FORKLIFT | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Material Handler role involves unloading inbound shipments, operating forklifts, organizing inventory, and preparing materials for sterilization processing. Candidates must be dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in warehouse conditions.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

MATERIAL HANDLER / STAND-UP FORKLIFT | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Unload inbound trucks and verify product quantities
• Stack and organize materials according to pallet patterns
• Operate stand-up forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Store pallets in designated rack and bin locations
• Use scanners and inventory systems to complete warehouse transactions
• Build sterilization loads following established procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records
• Follow quality standards and safety procedures at all times
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Support operations between multiple nearby facilities as needed

MATERIAL HANDLER / STAND-UP FORKLIFT | REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Forklift certification preferred
• Ability to pass forklift driver testing
• MUST have previous forklift expereince
• 2+ years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred
• Experience operating stand-up forklifts strongly preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math and problem-solving skills required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and reaching
• Comfortable working in warehouse environments with noise, machinery, and varying temperatures
