MATERIAL HANDLER - FORKLIFT | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Sumter SC 29153 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $16.50/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | E-Shift (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
• • Rotating Schedule: 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off

MATERIAL HANDLER - FORKLIFT | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Material Handler - Forklift will utilize a variety of material handling equipment to safely move parts, assemblies, and finished products throughout the facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

MATERIAL HANDLER - FORKLIFT | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, conveyors, handcarts, and power trucks to transport materials and goods within the warehouse.
• Material Handling: Frequently push, pull, and lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Inventory & Records: Maintain accurate operational records while adhering to strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
• Facility Navigation: Comfortably navigate the facility, including frequent use of stairs and steps.

MATERIAL HANDLER - FORKLIFT | REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• 1+ year of dedicated Forklift experience required (manufacturing environment preferred).
• Skills: Basic computer literacy, solid math skills, and the ability to read, write, and comprehend technical documents in English.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• This role requires regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
• The warehouse environment is subject to seasonal temperature changes (hot in the summer, cold in the winter) and moderate to loud noise levels.
