Material Handler

1st Shift: 7am - 3pm
2nd Shift: (2:30PM-11:00PM)

This role supports a fast paced aerospace production environment through the handling, movement, and management of materials.

Responsibilities:

Material Handling
• Load and unload materials within the warehouse or storage facility.
• Move materials using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other material-handling equipment.
• Transport materials to and from aircraft, trucks, trains, or designated storage locations.

Inventory & Documentation
• Verify, label, and receive incoming deliveries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
• Process returns, complete required documentation, and communicate with appropriate internal teams.

Equipment & Collaboration
• Conduct routine inspections and perform basic maintenance on material-handling equipment.
• Partner with internal departments to locate missing packages, resolve delivery errors, and replace damaged materials.

Skills & Qualifications
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform frequent heavy lifting with good coordination.
• Organizational Skills: Accurately sort, store, and track inventory.
• Basic Math Skills: Ability to count and measure quantities accurately.
• Experience: 0–2 years of experience as a Material Handler or in a related role.
• Communication: Strong communication skills for teamwork and coordination.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in labeling, tracking, and handling procedures.
• Certifications: Willingness to become forklift certified.

Work Environment
Material Handlers work under immediate supervision and follow established guidelines and procedures.
