Material Handler

• Serve as a positive role model to peers for safe work practices and behavior by conducting yourself professionally, keeping in mind your own safety and the safety of others.
• Ensure compliance to all aspects of the Quality Management System as they pertain to Materials Control, Handling, Line Opening/Closing, and labelling.
• Verifies that product being moved has an appropriate Pallet Placard & QC Stamp before moving.
• Communicate to the manufacturing team of any issues or opportunities that may affect product quality.
• Understand and follow all written documents including standard operating procedures (SOP's), forms
• Clean and replenish VLMs
• Work directly with shippers/receivers to coordinate all material needed for the shop floor
• Return remaining material back to its ERP location
• Perform weekly cycle counts
• Issue material to work orders when needed
• Print pick lists/ pick work orders
• Wrap all skids of finished goods or WIP and safely move them to their proper location

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Minimum of 2-4 years warehouse experience.
• Current forklift certification.
• Experience with computers and relevant warehouse management computer software.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend and to lift heavy materials up to 40 lb
