Position Overview
A busy Tulsa-area company is seeking a reliable and experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join their team. This is not just a warehouse role this position involves frequent customer interaction, so we are looking for someone who is professional, presentable, and comfortable working directly with customers on a daily basis.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and able to handle both material handling and customer service responsibilities in a fast-paced shop environment.

Key Responsibilities
Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials
Assist customers with orders, pickups, and general inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
Maintain accurate handling of materials and ensure proper organization of inventory
Perform manual lifting up to 100 lbs (team lift required)
Work in a non-climate controlled shop environment (heat/cold depending on season)
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Support overall shop operations and assist team members as needed

Qualifications & Requirements
Required: Previous sit-down forklift experience
Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly
Must be very presentable and professional in appearance and attitude
Ability to work long shifts (10+ hours) and maintain productivity throughout the day
Physically capable of lifting, moving, and handling materials regularly
Must have steel toe boots

Screening Requirements
Must pass a drug test
Must pass a background check

Work Environment
Non-climate controlled shop (industrial setting)
Customer-facing role with frequent interaction
Team-oriented but fast-paced environment requiring independence
