Assists in outbound shipments. \n \nMonday-Friday 6am-2:45pm, possible overtime. $19/hour+pending experience.\n\n Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance\n Two Retirement Plans - 401k and Employee Stock\n Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays\n Paid Shutdown Week\n EAP and Wellness Program\n Tuition Reimbursement\n Employee Owned Company\n \nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. \n\n Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. \n Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.\n Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.\n Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.\n Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination.\n Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled as needed.\n Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.\n Operates fork lift\n Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.\n Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.\n Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.\n Organizes and tracks inventory.\n Performs cycle counts.\n Receives and Issues materials in ERP system. \n Contacts vendors when needed.\n* Attends meetings.\n \nOther duties may be assigned.\n \nREQUIRED COMPETENCY to perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:\n \nQuality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure quality.\n \nQuantity - Meets productivity standards; completes work in timely manner; strives to increase productivity; works quickly.\n \nSafety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.\n \nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES \n \nThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.\n \nQUALIFICATIONS to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. \n \nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS \n \nAbility to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.\n \nREASONING ABILITY \n \nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
