Material HandlerWe are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our clients expanding team in Wadsworth, OH. This full-time role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want to contribute to smooth production operations.
As a Material Handler, you will support manufacturing by ensuring the timely movement of raw materials and finished products. You'll work closely with the production team to keep lines stocked and running efficiently, helping to support overall company success. If you're a team player with a keen eye for detail, this could be the right opportunity for you.
Hours:Pay:Key Responsibilities:- Check and refill color feeders and gaylords for plastic as needed
- Print labels based on work orders
- Prepare raw materials and supplies for daily changeovers
- Assist operators with breaks when required
- Use hand pallet jack or forklift to move finished pallets to staging, wrap, and prepare for shipping
- Tag all completed skids of product and provide boxes and skids for production lines as needed
- Notify management of low stock items such as boxes or rolls of labels and restock unused boxes in receiving area
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to function independently, work efficiently, and collaborate with others
- Knowledge of production processes and experience with forklift operation
Nice to Have Skills:- Forklift experience
- Effective communication with team members and management
- Ability to read and understand work orders
- Basic computer skills
