Material Handler

Location: Wagram, NC
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: 12-Hour Swing/Rotating Shifts

Olsten Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Forklift Operator / Material Handler for a client in the Wagram, NC area.

This position works a 12-hour rotating schedule, alternating between day and night shifts every 4 weeks, including approximately 2 weekends per month. Candidates must be comfortable working both days and nights.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility.

• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and production materials.

• Transport finished products and raw materials to designated areas.

• Stage materials for production and shipping.

• Verify materials, quantities, and product information for accuracy.

• Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records.

• Perform general material-handling and warehouse duties as needed.

• Inspect forklift equipment and report any safety or maintenance concerns.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow all company safety procedures and facility guidelines.

• Assist production and warehouse teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience required.

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or material-handling experience preferred.

• Ability to work 12-hour rotating day and night shifts.

• Must be available to work approximately 2 weekends per month.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Strong attention to safety and detail.

• Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.

• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform physical material-handling duties throughout the shift.

Must have high School diploma or equivalent
