Position Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the facility to support production and shipping operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting workflow efficiency, and ensuring all materials are delivered to the appropriate locations.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment preferred
• Valid driver's license required

Skills & Abilities

• Strong attention to safety and operational procedures
• Basic math proficiency
• Experience with inventory management systems and barcode scanners
• Ability to support material flow processes from receiving through shipping
• Computer literacy and ability to work within inventory systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
• Ability to climb stairs frequently
• Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, industrial lift trucks, and powered mobile platforms
