Monday-Thursday

5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

$21.05/hour

Overtime may be available on Fridays and Saturdays.

What Youll Do

As a Material Handler, you will help keep our production operations running smoothly by safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the facility.

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, NTA, and parts carts to transport materials throughout the facility

• Identify and transport requested materials to and from machines, loading docks, trucks, storage areas, and other locations

• Review production schedules and shipping orders to identify, verify, and deliver requested raw materials, equipment, and processing materials

• Deliver materials according to machine loading capacity and production schedules

• Load, unload, stack, and organize drums, skids, pallets, parts, and other supplies in designated areas

• Use protective materials and strapping equipment to safely secure loads during transportation

• Remove strapping and wrapping materials after delivery and properly dispose of waste

• Use computer systems to look up part locations, check and record inventory, and reference production information

• Attach identifying tags or labels to materials

• Push and pull carts and move materials throughout the facility

• Shovel parts and perform other physical material-handling tasks as needed

• Report material or transportation issues to your supervisor

• Perform basic equipment servicing as needed and report mechanical or electrical issues to the maintenance department

• Help identify opportunities to improve inventory organization and material location systems

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Perform other duties as assigned

What Were Looking For

• 18 years or older

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug test in accordance with company policy, including marijuana (THC)

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

• Ability to push and pull carts and move materials throughout the facility

• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Willingness to be flexible in work assignments

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
