Pay Range: $20+/hour (depending on experience)
Job Summary:
The Materials Handler will transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist Fabrication in sourcing auxiliary items: hardware from maintenance shop, machine inserts, installing blinds to structures, etc.
Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).
Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
Return necessary product to stock; finished goods, leftover materials, excess materials, etc.
Assist the Shipping and Receiving Department as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good math and written communication skills.
Efficient time management skills.
Forklift experience.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or other formal training in related field preferred.
