Current Openings by Shift:
Day Shift: 5:00 AM 1:30 PM | 3 Openings
Night Shift: 1:15 PM 9:45 PM | 4 Openings
Graveyard Shift: 9:30 PM 6:00 AM | 8 Openings
Job Duties:
Prepare steel products and materials for the galvanizing process
Hang angle iron and steel parts on spreader bars
Stage tubular products and prepare small parts for galvanizing
Wire small to medium-sized parts to racks
Use air or electric-powered tools to clean and prepare steel
Move lightweight steel products throughout the plant and yard
Perform general plant cleanup and housekeeping
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements:
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods during the shift
Must be comfortable working in hot, cold, dusty, and industrial environments
Strong attention to safety and detail
Reliable transportation and good attendance required
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Previous manufacturing or galvanizing experience preferred
Experience using hand tools, grinders, drills, torches, or impact wrenches is a plus
Forklift or bridge crane experience preferred
Work Environment:
This position works in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, dust, smoke, and changing weather conditions. PPE is required at all times.
