The Material Handler is responsible for moving products and inventory using equipment like forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
Primary duties include following FIFO inventory processes, manual lifting, packaging, labeling, and completing shipping documentation.
They load/unload trucks, ensure accurate inventory counts, inspect and verify paperwork, and record product data.
Additional tasks involve coordinating waste removal, identifying safety issues, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to GMP, SOPs, safety, security, and food safety standards.
Qualifications include a high school diploma/GED and 2 years of industrial truck driving experience.
Skills required are teamwork, communication, basic math, data recording, flexibility to work weekends/holidays, and physical ability to lift heavy loads and work in wet, humid, or chemical environments.
