Abacus is seeking a hardworking, reliable, and flexible Warehouse Associate to join our fast-growing organization. In this role, you will be integral to our daily operations, performing various warehouse duties such as sorting, loading, unloading, and receiving materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of a Warehouse Associate

  • Receive and process incoming stock and materials, ensuring accurate documentation and organization.
  • Pick and fill orders from stock, adhering to customer specifications and company standards.
  • Pack and ship orders efficiently, maintaining product integrity and preparing goods for delivery.
  • Manage, organize, and retrieve stock within the warehouse, optimizing space and accessibility.
  • Inspect products for defects and damages, ensuring quality control before shipping.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, regularly updating stock levels and conducting audits.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and effectively.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to create a secure working environment for all staff.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and enhance productivity.
  • Assist in training new warehouse staff, sharing knowledge of processes and safety protocols.
  • Organize the movement of items in and out of the warehouse, ensuring proper stocking and reordering as necessary.
  • Pack items according to customer preferences and company guidelines, ensuring the final product meets quality standards.
  • Provide customer service by liaising between warehouse staff and customers, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Load goods efficiently and safely into vehicles or shipping containers, ensuring brand consistency and verifying loading patterns.
  • Perform general warehouse duties, including receiving, processing, and shipping items while maintaining quality control.
  • Work with warehouse clerks to ensure successful shipment of goods, reviewing orders for accuracy and coordinating outbound shipments.
