Job Title: Material Handling 1
Location: Round Rock, TX, 78665 (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract – W2
Pay Rate: $25/hr on W2
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Hours: 40 hours/week

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support inventory and logistics operations. This role is primarily responsible for receiving materials, accurately entering inventory data into the system, maintaining inventory records, and supporting material handling activities. Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, good computer skills, and be comfortable working in a warehouse environment with chemical materials (training provided).

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming materials and match packing slips with purchase orders
  • Enter and maintain material information in the inventory management system
  • Tag and identify materials while ensuring documentation is completed accurately
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and material location tracking
  • Retrieve and provide inventory information when requested
  • Handle chemical materials safely and follow all health and safety procedures
  • Support handling and segregation of expired or non-conforming materials
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams for timely inventory updates
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked work environment
  • Perform additional inventory and data-entry related tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in data entry, inventory, logistics, or material handling preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and dependable with strong teamwork skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment

Work Environment
  • Warehouse / inventory setting
  • Chemical handling involved (PPE and training provided)
