Your Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and scheduled maintenance on LPG and diesel forklifts
- Identify and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel systems
- Inspect equipment routinely to ensure safe, compliant operation
- Service or replace engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, and other key parts
- Maintain detailed service records and maintenance documentation
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety policies
- Respond rapidly to breakdowns to keep operations on schedule
- Communicate repair plans, timelines, and recommendations to the Department Manager
What You Bring
- Experience as a forklift mechanic or heavy equipment mechanic
- Direct hands-on work with propane and diesel forklifts (required)
- Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and service manuals
- Valid driver’s license; forklift certification preferred
- Comfort lifting up to 50 lbs and working in warehouse/outdoor settings
- Attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skills
Bonus Qualifications
- Technical school or trade certification in mechanical repair
- Familiarity with multiple forklift brands
- Welding or fabrication capability

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour (non-exempt)
