Quals--
- The Material Operator will perform tasks associated with the production of molded Thermoplastic and Thermoset materials used in the Aerospace and Industrial markets.
- The Material Operator will prepare raw materials for our internal molding departments and for external sales.
- This position will work independently to cut sheet molding compounds into various sizes then make them into preforms while maintaining quality and a safe work environment.
- The Material Operator will mix resin using industrial mixing equipment and utilizing grinding equipment in making bulk molding compounds.
Skills / Experience
- Ability to work in above ambient temperatures
- Maintain high attendance standards
- Proficient in preparing dry mixes, wet mixes and resin making within the Material department.
- Perform visual inspections and identify anomalies or deficiencies and escalate to Lead. Proficient in utilizing industrial weighing and blending equipment.
- Demonstrate ability to follow detailed work instructions.
- 1+ years experience Working in a manufacturing environment Required
- 1+ years experience Raw material experience Preferred
