Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Martials Planning Advisor in support of our enterprise technology client in Austin, TX.   • Understands product demand requirements for assigned products to ensure appropriate level of supply
  • Aligns forecast assumptions with segment forecasters
  • Translates customer and financial requirements to actionable forecasts for Operations and Procurement
  • Governs demand consumption rates and provides early warning and mitigation options to supply issues
  • Maintains Continuity of Supply (COS) for assigned products to maintain standard lead times
  • Works supply imbalances, both excesses and shortages, with the supply chain to correct as quickly and cost effectively as possible
  • Establishes demand shaping programs with segments during times of supply imbalances or when required to meet a shift in the regional marketing or financial plans
  • Manages product/peripheral transition to avoid delivery delay and E&O
  • Provides segments with the Forecast Assumptions package that must contain the product roadmaps, RTS dates, EOML dates, cost, price, form, feature, and function and market share
  • Analyzes supply-demand relationship to determine appropriate lead-time
  • Understands price and lead-time elasticity of products, and incorporates this into lead-time management and forecast
  • Works with product launch teams to ensure that products are successfully introduced into the marketplace and that products launch with accurate forecast and supply
  • Understands Bill of Materials (BOM) structure
  • Understands supply chain design and flexibility

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, forecasting, or operations management
  • Strong understanding of demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory management principles
  • Experience aligning forecast assumptions with cross-functional stakeholders (finance, marketing, operations)
  • Proven ability to analyze supply/demand imbalances and develop mitigation strategies
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management, including product launches, transitions, and end-of-life planning
  • Working knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and supply chain design/flexibility
  • Demonstrated ability to manage Continuity of Supply (COS) and maintain targeted lead times
  • Experience with demand shaping strategies and scenario planning to support business objectives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret large data sets and provide actionable insights
  • Proficiency in Excel and supply chain planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or similar)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in forecasting and reporting

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
