Key Responsibilities
· Lead and supervise skilled maintenance and production personnel on assigned shifts.
· Ensure departmental goals for safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost are achieved.
· Manage preventive maintenance activities and conduct weekly maintenance audits.
· Coordinate daily work assignments, schedules, and workforce priorities.
· Lead union skilled trades including mechanics, electricians, and pipefitters.
· Troubleshoot complex equipment and support emergency maintenance activities.
· Optimize equipment performance and improve operational efficiency.
· Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and conduct performance reviews.
· Enforce health, safety, environmental, and company policies.
· Support continuous improvement and maintenance effectiveness initiatives.
· Prepare operational reports and analyze maintenance performance data.
· Collaborate with maintenance leadership to control maintenance costs.
· Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions.
Summary:
Lead and supervise maintenance and production teams to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. Oversee preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, workforce scheduling, and union skilled trades while driving performance in safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost. Monitor maintenance effectiveness, analyze operational data, enforce health and safety standards, support continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with leadership to optimize equipment performance, control maintenance costs, and implement corrective actions.
