Job Summary: Material Process Engineering
Technician support to the materials development engineers in the several area: The scope includes but not limited to, metallography (Cut, mount, and polish test samples or engine parts), general microscopy (e.g. optical microscope, scanning microscope), and Coating materials testing (e.g hardness, erosion). Work may also include supporting the projects for the test coupon/material shipping logistics, and frequently, moving boxes weighing up to 20 pounds across office and lab for various needs.
Required Education, Experience and Skills: Material Process Engineering- Metallography, Optical Microscopy, Scanning Electron microscope, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PPT, Microsoft Excel
- Must have or is seeking an Associates of Science (AS) degree
- 0 to 3 years of experience
