Description
Nucor is looking for a Material Receiver (Loader/Unloader) to join the team in North Las Vegas, NV, where you will safely receive, store, and load raw materials, building panel bundles, and warehouse accessories using heavy machinery like forklifts and combi-lifts. To qualify, candidates must possess or obtain a forklift certification within 30 days of hire, hold a medium level of proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and demonstrate a strong commitment to upholding safety standards.

Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Material Handling & Loading: Receive, store, and unload incoming materials and warehouse parts using forklifts and combi-lifts; stage, inspect, and load panel bundles and accessories onto trailers.
Safety & Equipment Inspections: Uphold safety policies and practices at all times, maintain housekeeping standards, and conduct pre-shift inspections on equipment.

Qualifications
Job Requirements
Certifications: Active forklift certification or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
Technical Skills: Medium level of computer competency, specifically with Microsoft Word & Excel.
Preferred Experience: Prior shipping and receiving experience, as well as background operating heavy machinery beyond standard warehouse forklifts.
