Material Resource Planning (MRP) Controller

Lincoln (LN6 3AD)

18-Month Contract

37 hours per week (7 hrs/day)

Rate: £18.00 - £24.00 PAYE OR £24.00 - £32.00 UMB

Join a Leading Energy Business

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Energy client based in Lincoln as an MRP Controller. In this role, you''ll play a critical part in ensuring material availability and delivery plans align with production and customer commitments.

What You''ll Be Doing

• Create, maintain, and communicate delivery plans across the supply chain
• Assess demand changes and provide impact analysis to support planning decisions
• Maintain accurate master and dynamic planning data within SAP
• Manage inventory levels to ensure availability while avoiding excess stock
• Ensure supplier delivery commitments are met and reflected in system schedules
• Act as the primary interface with suppliers, driving performance and improvements
• Lead supplier business reviews focusing on Quality, Cost, and Delivery
• Manage shortages, recovery plans, and escalation of supply risks
• Analyse supplier capacity and constraints that may impact delivery

What We''re Looking For

• Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, or Logistics
• Strong understanding of production planning, inventory control, and supply chain processes
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems
• Ability to manage supplier relationships and influence outcomes
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
