Material Technician
Shift: 1st, (7am-3pm)
Pay: $17-$22/hr (Based on experience)
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Tech to join our manufacturing team.
Job Description:
- Pre-stage materials for upcoming production set-ups according to priority schedules.
- Set up materials and auxiliary equipment, including grinders and dryers, according to work center layouts.
- Clean loaders, hoses, feed throats, and filters at production presses.
- Mix materials, concentrates, natural color, and regrind materials according to manufacturing orders.
- Monitor and maintain auxiliary equipment to ensure proper operation and reduce machine downtime.
- Maintain dryer material levels and monitor grinder status throughout production runs.
- Complete identification tags and create labels for materials and auxiliary equipment.
- Complete end-of-shift material reports and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with previous shift technicians and mechanics regarding ongoing work.
