Description
Materials Test Engineer I
East Hartford, CT
Contract
$40.41-$50.69/hr
Support material testing programs using test rigs, including project management and task execution for rig development. Execute project tasks related to material testing, document and report test data, and perform data entry into databases. Provide procurement and acquisition support for test articles, coordinate shipping activities, and move materials and boxes weighing up to 20 pounds throughout office and laboratory environments. Assist in the preparation and delivery of presentations to senior management and provide additional project coordination and logistics support as needed.
Education and Experience: Materials Test Engineer I
- Bachelors degree Mechanical/Aerospace engineering and 1- 2+ years work experience Or Masters degree in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering and 0-2 years of work experience.
- NX or Solidworks proficiency
- MS Office proficiency
- Basic project engineering
- US Citizen
- US Domestic travel up to 25%
