We are currently seeking a Materials Analyst to join our Chicago Heights site and play a vital role in ensuring inventory accuracy and supporting site operations.

About the Role

As a Materials Analyst, you will be responsible for driving inventory accuracy across the site while ensuring materials are available to meet production schedules. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including warehouse, planning, production, and quality to verify materials, resolve discrepancies, and support smooth operational flow.

This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cycle counts of raw and packaging materials
  • Conduct material verifications to ensure readiness for upcoming production
  • Support site-wide physical inventories and investigate discrepancies
  • Monitor and track inventory across hot boxes, containers, and storage areas
  • Partner with warehouse, materials, and planning teams to ensure stock availability
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to achieving key KPIs, including schedule adherence and inventory accuracy

What You Will Bring

Essential Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a plant or warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail and inventory management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Physical capability to perform warehouse-related duties (including lifting and standing for extended periods)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business or supply chain
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Oracle (inventory, shipping, receiving)
  • Knowledge of physical inventories and KPI tracking
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Our compensation structure is designed to reflect the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 per year.

Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.

At Nufarm, we believe in total compensation. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for additional forms of compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, financial, and other wellbeing benefits.
