Job Title: Materials Analyst

Duration: 6 Months

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Materials Analyst in Clearwater, FL. This is a 6-month contract role where you will play a crucial role in optimizing our materials management processes, ensuring that our supply chain operates efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands. You will report directly to our Materials Planning Supervisor and work out of the Clearwater, FL plant.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in planning with MRP/ERP Systems/SAP in manufacturing planning
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Power BI)
• US Citizenship
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• 2-year degree
• Ability to work independently and take direction from others
• Established skills and experience in materials management/planning

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Analyze material inventory position, shortages, and supply risks
• Investigate and resolve material-related issues caused by supply disruptions
• Monitor shortage reports, open demand, and past due materials
• Coordinate daily with Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to understand and resolve material shortages
• Escalate critical shortages with clear communication and recommended actions
• Develop and maintain reports, trackers, and analysis to improve material visibility, shortage management, and operational decision making
• Ensure execution of critical tasks to support shop performance and customer satisfaction
