To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

• ·         Responsible for accurate releasing of raw materials to suppliers.
• ·         Review coverage reports to ensure consistent material availability for production areas.
• ·         Responsible for weekly truck schedule.
• ·         Responsible for production planning and scheduling.
• ·         Responsible for the accurate maintenance of raw material inventory receipts and records and timely entry of receipts into the business system.
• ·         Monitor delivery performance of raw materials suppliers and trucking companies.

 

This Salary role is a part of our plant Materials Team and reports to the Materials Manager.

Required experience:

• ·         Minimum three to five (5) years’ experience in materials/leadership role.
• ·         Good computer skills.  Ability to use Microsoft Office software.
• ·         Ability to assume responsibility. Results focused.
• ·         Understanding/Experience with Material Planning / Releasing.
• ·         Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• ·         Knowledge / Experience with QAD preferred.
• ·         Inventory Management, BOM and Cycle Count experience preferred.

 

Working conditions:

 

• While performing the duties of this job, the colleague is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, product, or equipment.
• The colleague is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms in repairing fixing, welding, or conducting inspection.
• The colleague must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
