This position will be fully in office in Shawnee.
What You Will Do
Analyze warehouse performance metrics and develop and execute process improvement measures to increase accuracy and efficiency while maintaining compliance.
Track transactional errors and identify and execute on opportunities for process and system improvements.
Monitor traceable, verified, and complete (TVC) reports to ensure proper lot capture.
Utilize inventory-control methods and system tools to monitor and evaluate inventories in order to keep them at optimal levels; forecast future material requirements; manage processes and practices related to inventory movement, replenishment, and accuracy; and maintain inventory control and performance reporting.
Develop and maintain ERP materials management system applications; identify areas for modification or enhancement; and participate in testing, documentation, and implementation of changes.
Track adherence to and progress of the cycle count process.
Provide training to system users.
Provide information and technical assistance to ERP system users, stores employees, accounting employees, information technology employees, suppliers, and others relative to purchasing and stores procedures.
Compile, prepare, and approve information and reports including:
Manage the emergency materials list and corresponding semi-annual review, quarterly meter review, and badge access audit to maintain compliance across the organization.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
What You Will Need
Preferred Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Accounting, or related function
Experience with and knowledge of materials management processes and basic inventory control methods such as inventory replenishment, cycle counting, ABC analysis, and accounting debit/credit standards.
Experience with project activities including elements of process controls, practice development, compliance, and performance management.
Demonstrated Ability to understand organizational structure, operations, policy utilization, and standards applicable to support of processes and services such as materials management functions.
Experience with the application of math and algebra.
Experience in use and function of office equipment including microcomputers and applicable software.
Experience and training related to:
Experience prioritizing workload and managing multiple projects to meet deadlines.
Experience interacting, advising, assisting, persuading, and communicating effectively.
Demonstrated ability to develop information and make presentations.
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
Minimum Applicable driver's license.
Preferred Certification by ISM (Institute for Supply Management) and/or APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) Certifications.
Mobility to travel in and around office facilities both in-state and out-of-state.
Able to operate tools and equipment required.
Able to communicate and exchange information or instructions.
Visual ability sufficient to perform job duties.
