Materials and Inventory Coordinator

Contract 40 hours weekly 100% Onsite

Hourly rate $32-$35 based on Experience...

Summary:
This role is for an energetic individual who takes full ownership of warehouse responsibilities including shipping and receiving activities, data entry associated with the receipt, and shipment of our products.  Routine cycle counts along with being accountable for the accuracy and location of goods in inventory is key to sound operations. Accurate data entry and record keeping is key to maintaining our QA Production Material Acceptance records in order. The Materials & Inventory Specialist may be required to perform all, or a combination of the following essential responsibilities as determined by necessity. This role is located at the Company’s Woburn, MA office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive and ship in-house materials.
  • Review documentation for compliance.
  • Material handling and inventory of controlled production raw materials and finished goods.
  • Support Quality in the approval of production raw materials and finished goods.
  • Inspection and validation of material and documentation.
  • Work directly with the Procurement specialist to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Liaise with shipping and freight companies to schedule shipments at a reasonable cost.
  • Support lab and warehouse facility and equipment management.
  • Manage production materials logistics including finished products shipping to Cytrellis and order fulfillment to customers.
  • Conduct light assembly work (assemble consumable kits) including managing the job orders and closure.
  • Cycle counts and inventory management.
  • Ability to move materials with pallet jack and other non-powered equipment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to support end of month/quarter/year shipments.
  • Ability to use FedEx and UPS shipping software and web interfaces.
  • Other tasks and duties as specified.

Education and/or Experience:

Must recent experience with Netsuite or Epicor is needed (Similar platforms)
  • High School diploma, some college or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Three to Five years of experience in Warehouse, shipping / receiving, manufacturing, and inventory management.
  • International shipping experience required.
  • Medical device manufacturing experience highly preferred.
  • Experience with FDA and ISO 13485 compliant medical device manufacturing environments.
  • Strong experience in inventory management and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities, and multiple deadlines.
  • Comprehensive understanding of ERP/MRP (Netsuite) systems as well as good working knowledge with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS).
  • The ability to collaborate with all levels of management in a matrix environment required.
  • Able to drop off packages at UPS or FedEx drop offs
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and standing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facility.
