The Role

The Materials Coordinator has an important role within our stock control/dispatch area which

involves working with electronic assemblies (circuit boards) and components. Reporting to the Materials Team Lead, the role will involve goods inward, kitting, dispatch and stock taking.

What will I be delivering?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain control, traceability and accurate records of the stock on a rolling monthly basis.
  • Conduct yearly WIP stock takes. Assist in yearly Financial Audits.
  • Liaise with the QA department regarding shipping and shortages.
  • Provide parts ad hoc to internal customers and liaising with the planning department to ensure this does not create shortage issues for customer orders.
  • Housekeeping - ensuring that the working area is clean and safe.
  • Ensure optimum use of space whilst maintaining identification of product.
  • Responsible for Health & Safety (H&S) within your working area.
  • Maintain ESD status of yourself, parts, and the workplace.

What do I need to bring with me?

Essential knowledge & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a stores/stock controle role would be ideal
  • Good at communicating with Team members at all levels.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Be quality conscious with good attention to detail.
  • Accountability for individual performance
  • Ability to work and contribute to the Operations team's success
