    Bigbelly Solar is seeking a dependable and organized Materials Coordinator to support our Service & Spares Distribution team in Methuen, MA. This role is responsible for picking, organizing, preparing, and shipping service and spares components that support Bigbelly's smart waste and recycling systems locally and internationally. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and is committed to providing excellent internal and external customer support.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Pick, pack, and ship service parts accurately and on time.
    • Organize and maintain inventory needed to support spares and service. 
    • Assist with stocking shelves, replenishing inventory, and organizing warehouse materials.
    • Process material transactions using the company's ERP or warehouse management system.
    • Prepare kits and materials for field technicians and service teams.
    • Coordinate shipments with carriers and prepare shipping documentation.
    • Help identify inventory discrepancies and support corrective actions.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
    • Support other warehouse and logistics activities as needed.

    Requirements:

     

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant coursework is a plus.
    • Two to three years of experience in a warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving or logistics role preferred.
    • Basic computer skills with experience using inventory, ERP, or warehouse management systems.
    • Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Good communication skills. A team-oriented attitude is a must.
    • Ability to prioritize work and meet daily deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with cycle counting or inventory control.
    • Familiarity with shipping carriers such as UPS, FedEx, or LTL freight.
    • Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
    • Knowledge of preferred packaging methods for various materials.
    • Ability to concisely communicate with upper management.
