Job Description
Grace is seeking a MRO Materials Coordinator to join our team!
The MRO materials coordinator is responsible for creating and placing purchase orders with our Maintenance, Repair, and Operations suppliers.
This position is responsible for maintaining data in SAP and other databases as necessary. Perform MRO inventories as needed and place corresponding orders.
Additional duties include conducting accurate inventory of appropriate supplies, managing vendor relations, processing invoices, and supporting the Supply Chain Department as needed.
This role is on-site at our Tyrone, PA location and reports to our Logistics Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Effective coordination with key stakeholders from all departments on site to ensure parts and materials are properly ordered
- Order MRO parts using SAP/MRP and Ariba purchasing sessions.
- Manage MRO inventory levels following site and corporate requirements.
- Properly maintain stores SKU numbers, including creation, change and deletion as necessary.
- Perform sourcing activities for new and existing parts/equipment.
- Works with company approved PPE suppliers to maintain appropriate levels on-site and off-site as needed.
- Works with the safety department to source new or alternative safety equipment and PPE.
- Inventory Misc. supplies as needed. Maintain inventoried areas for cleanliness and to make sure all items are properly stored, labeled and counted.
- Create purchase requisitions for maintenance related service vendors, including service and rental agreements
- Process invoices as needed.
- Keep vendor relations including but not limited to vendor creation, updates, corrections and various other communications.
Physical Requirements and Environment
- Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in purchasing or procurement planning
- Experience using excel, word, powerpoint, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Experience with SAP and Ariba
