    Summary

    Responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to customer job sites, company locations, and vendors; ensures timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service, complying with company safety standards, and properly inspecting and maintaining assigned vehicles.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local motor vehicle laws, regulations, and company safety policies.
    • Transport materials, tools, equipment, and supplies to and from customer job sites, company facilities, and vendor locations in a safe and timely manner.
    • Load, unload, inspect, and properly secure cargo to prevent damage and ensure safe transportation.
    • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
    • Verify delivery documentation, obtain required signatures, and maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle inspections.
    • Provide professional and courteous service while communicating effectively with customers, vendors, dispatch, warehouse personnel, and field employees.
    • Assist with warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, organizing inventory, staging materials, and preparing orders for delivery as needed.

    Education and/or Experience

    High school diploma and 1-2 years' experience; requires clean driving record.

    Computer Skills

    Basic computer or handheld device skills for inventory tracking and documentation.

    Physical Demands

    Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods; frequently required to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, climb, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work in a variety of environments, including indoor, outdoor, hot, cold, or noisy conditions.
