Job Description:
- Team details & who they will work with:Apparel materials development on a seasonal basis sports wear and lifestyle, base textiles, prints, and was dye. Working with product creation teams - designers, tech dev, product managers.
- This NOT a design role, this role manages the technical aspect of Material Development
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Minimum required years of experience: 3 years Materials Development
- Education requirements: bach or equivalent exp
Must have skills:
- Technical side of Materials design, get a brief from design, testing and validation, and getting it set up in the system for production
- Technical materials knowledge, including yarns, knitting, weaving, dyeing, printing and finishing techniques
Nice to have skills:
- Past experience at a fortune 500 retail brand
- Has worked cross functionally with product creation teams
- Software/technical requirements:
- PCX, smartsheets, Miro
- Previous Client/industry experience preference: Yes
