Job Summary:
Seeking a Materials Engineer/Scientist to support the Neuromodulation Portfolio through materials research, characterization, testing, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct materials characterization, accelerated testing, and surface analysis in the laboratory.
• Support materials research, new product development, and released products through cross-functional project teams.
• Analyze materials, processing methods, properties, performance, and potential material-related issues.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Support evaluation of biocompatibility, biostability, and materials of concern/regulatory requirements.

Additional Requirements:

• Self-starter with ability to work independently/autonomously.
• Strong technical report writing and communication skills.
• Materials experience with metallic, nonmetallic, or composite materials is relevant.
• Medical device/regulated industry experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related field with 2+ years relevant experience, OR advanced degree with 0+ years experience.
• New graduates may be considered based on leveling.
• Must be able to work 100% onsite in Minneapolis, MN.
